Recommendations for good bunded oil tank

    Hi,

It'll soon be time to replace our oil tank. The one we have is a single skin plastic lad by a company called JFC.
I'm a bit paranoid about the location of the tank as there's a slight down hill flow to the house so if it leaks or fails we'd be in right trouble.

To that end I'm looking at replacing it with a bunded tank of about 1000l capacity.
Would anyone have a good make or model to recommend?
    Cheers.
    R.

Can't go wrong with Titan oil tanks.

    I've fitted hundreds without issue.
    What's your point?

    100's

I bow to your experience, I only see 20 a year in my area. But picture shown is of a seal that disintegrated.
    I'll stand by that.

You might buy a bunded tank cheaper from your local oil delivery supplier. They might even take away your old tank

I am not asking you to bow to my experience.
Yes 100s, I did the plumbing and Heating on a large domestic development that had no access to mains gas, we used Titan tanks without issues.
I also fitted them on one off houses.
So you have a photo of a deteriorated connection, this could be because of any reason, possibly installers fault who knows?
I have had gas boilers arrive with faulty components, it doesn't mean id slate the boiler manufacturer, they offer warranty for a reason.

OP, any branded tank purchased from a reliable provider.
