I am not a religious man. However, lent is coming up, it is a decent batch of time and I was thinking of setting myself some challenge to complete by Easter.

What do the good people of boards think I should do?

    - Go vegan?
    - Exercise 30 mins every day?
    - Give up the booze?
    - Learn a musical instrument?

What do you think AH, any ideas?

Vigorously play a vegan friendly musical instrument for 30 minutes a day while sober?

    Covers all bases

are we to believe that Jesus (a virgin) lived at home until the age of 33 and never once had a danger-****, let alone a regular one?

    Please.

Sure, didn't the Lord himself pause for a quick **** before giving himself up for the world. And then, on the third day it rose again (no doubt related to his hypoxic state, what with being up on that cross 'n all).

Apart from eating a thick juicy steak on good Friday I don't do anything special for Easter. This year I'll have it in a gastro pub and wash it down with a nice cold beer.

I think his mother was supposed to be the "virgin". There's nothing to say he was a virgin especially since 30 odd years of his life are missing from the fairytale.

Never heard of him but if that's a comedian you took me up wrong because I was being perfectly serious. I always have steak on good Friday that started off as joke I suppose but turned into a tradition! I hardly ever eat steak which is another reason keep it up.

No , not at all .
You've heard of the "second coming" and on the third day "he rose again".
What do you think these comments were about ?

Ramadan is a complete load of bollox too...but find it humourous when people who partake in lent make negative remarks about Ramadan, it's the same thing principally
