Divorce query

    Hi I got married in northern Ireland but I live in the republic my question is can i get my divorce through the UK system seen as I married there and does irish legal aid cover me if I divorce in uk I've asked so many people and nobody seems to know the awnser 😦

    You can get divorced in the UK/N.I. but you have to be resident there for 6 months before you apply and remain resident for the duration.

    I highly doubtful that Irish free legal aid would cover you in any other country.
