Hi, I'm trying to identify what type of tree this is at the end of the Grand Parade. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Try asking to move this to the Gardening forum?

In the meantime you need a closeup of a branch with the buds on it. Difficult enough at this time of year with no leaves.

My first guess is some form of Sorbus. Are the pigeons eating the fruit?

Sorry, I didn't even think to look for a gardening forum! Here is a picture of it from two summers ago:

Its heavily pruned whatever it is to stop the drunkards pulling out of it.
You need a close up of the leaf or branch though.she will bud next few weeks
