Ending a contract early

    12 month broadband contract
    1 and a bit months left on it
    Ending because lease is up on apartment and agent wants letters confirming all utility accounts are closed before keys go back.
    Eir want to charge a fee of €320 for losing out on 2 x €44.99.

    That is absolutely outrageous and I can't find anything in terms & conditions to justify such a high amount.

    Are they having it on or is this for real?
