Hi all, The AutoSave Draft feature is now disabled across the site. The decision to disable the feature was made via a poll last year. The delay in putting it in place was due to a bug/update issue. This should serve as a reminder to manually save your drafts if you wish to keep them. Thanks, The Boards Team.

    Hi all,

What's the best option for getting a custom domain + custom email for a site that's run on wordpress?

Is it better to see if Wordpress provide an upgrade to allow this or buy the domain from Letshost and do it that way?

Don't want to change the hosting as the Wordpress site suits. Just want to get a custom web address and associated custom email address options for different users to go with it.

thanks in advance for any advice!

If you already use and like Wordpress then just go with them to make it all easier, imo

    have a look at

or just get in touch with their support for advice

Looks like Wordpress don't do a .ie address bought through them so would need to buy domain and just link it to wordpress.

Wordpress also only do email forwarding and not actual professional addresses so think that needs to be through another site. We use gmail currently so would simplest option to be to just get G suite and pay for gmail that uses a bought domain name?

Maybe there's some other option I'm not thinking of?

thanks for the links by the way!

You can register a domain (.ie or whatever you want) and use your own self-hosted Wordpress site. Most hosting providers will give you email of some kind with hosting
