Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Glasses for near sightedness / no perscription

Is it possible to buy glasses for "general" near sightedness?

My grandfather will not go for an eye test because he thinks he is fine so I was hoping I could buy some kind of glasses to show him how better his vision will be.

Once he agrees he get a proper perscription.

I hope this makes sense. Very difficult to explain it. :o

I got a pair of -1 glasses on Ebay, basically the short sighted person's equivalent of reading glasses.

Someone managed to convince the man to go for an eye test.

    Thanks for the suggestion though.
