Deep scratch fix?

    Hi,

Drove into a metal frame and scratched the car.
The scratches are deep enough, down to the metal, dented but not pierced. The scratches are in a area about 1.5 inches circle.

Is there a DIY fix for this?

Not looking to spend too much on it and I have zero concern about how the fix looks.

    Thanks.

You can DIY anything, it really depends on the result you can accept.

However, you can get it quite nice using this method

You may want quotes from a couple local professionals and then decide if you think it's worth doing it DIY

Thanks for the reply. I'm not at all concerned as to how it looks. Just looking for a simple fix that'll stop rusting. The car is well marked and may not be long for the road.
I was wondering was there a one application paint that would do the job?
