    Areas to avoid like. Does anyone know St Brigid's Close as we've seen a house there we liked but not sure.

    St Brigids for me is a no go if buying a house. Always ahad a band name when I was growing up in the town. Some good people there but some parts are rough as... PArts of the mountmellick road if I recall would be areas to avoid. Not sure what th etown is liek these days but I do remember the Dublin Rd, Stradbally Rd, Abbeyleix Rd, Mountrath Rd were all areas that were decent enough.
