Avensis, seat belt stalk

    Failed the NCT on a dicky seat belt connection. Works fine for me, but it does need the right angle to connect ;)

    It's an 04 Avensis and having trouble finding a replacement. Are those universal seat belt stalks worth a punt?

    Wasn't finding anything local and need it reasonably quickly. I could always ask to post though!

    Relatively easy part to replace? Looks like a straight swap

    Better research as it will/might be linked to airbag and/or other sensors.
    After all it is your/passenger safety and your liability.

    Its a seatbelt pretensioner, will need to be the exact right one for your car a it is basically a firework connected to a cable and wire in under the seat
