    Just watched, just me or did the horse not look an incredibly awkward and unwilling participant?

    Refused to pull out before 2nd last for Towend for sure. Then went the other way to the last.

    For sure, not the worst ride ever.

    Only issue I can see is Townend not being able to change the laws of gravity.

    Was expecting a lot worse when I saw the replay tbh. Bad ride but seen a lot worse. Horse was all over the shop and PT knew he had the two in front covered only to get chinned by the winner coming from behind him.

    would he have got chinned if

    a) he hadnt got cought for room half a mile out

    b) rode up the 2 other lads hole for 2 furlongs

    c) switched more times than i can count

    That horse ran like a total pig, but at the same time, it still should have won. The problem looked to me like Townend struggled with the ride, made some bad decisions, and then panicked. I'd say you put Ruby on that, he would have gotten it up.
