Mick in Leitrim stocks Linglongs might be worth a call for a price. You'll find him on DD.

I asked here before about the l inglongs, are they any good. Any price for agrimax. They seem to be the norm around here at the moment

Taurus where avery good value tyre in the past. became largely unavailable in the Republic the last 10years for some reason? ?

i wouldn't hesitate putting them on myself if there available now based on past experience.

I've no experience of them anecdotal or otherwise either.

But I will say in general over the last few years the Chinese are beginning to up their tyre game so I'd not be surprised if people find them to be pretty good.

Have tyres dropped in price recently? I was quoted a good bit more than that for similar sized tyres about 6 months ago....I didn’t buy at the time. Maybe it’s time to look again....

Looking to replace a set of 340/85/R24's here, doing a lot of road work. Back tyres (420/85/R34) still have about 40%. Would I be able to go wider without changing the back wheels? BKT's seem to be the tire to go for around here anyways? Anyone have Vredesteins?

380/70/24 will work fine with your back tyres, but your rims might not be wide enough.... A 12" rim is what's recommended, but 11" or 13" will work, according to this... Most tyre brands should be similar, but they all have a website with the info you need.. https://www.agrigear.ie/380-70r24-bkt-a-max-rt-765-tl.html

Personally, I wouldn't consider the Cultor or Taurus.... Either the Kleber or Mitas should be fine, but by all means go Michelin if you're feeling flush. BKT should cost a little less than the Kleber and Mitas, if price is important.
