Reg plates

I've just imported a car from the north, NCT is tomorrow but dont have the reg plates yet. Can places generally do this same day or do you have to order and wait a day? Also do I need any documents to get reg plates?

Motor factors will do the plates while you wsit. Have you paid the VRT and got the new number?

Some might insist on documentation, the VRT receipt should be fine as you won't get the VLC until you first pay the motor tax the car.

Yea paid vrt and got the reg number
