'The 50m Rifle events take place on the fabulous Sinclair Range, fully equipped with Sius electronic targets and delivering probably the best shooting experience in the country...'

There are other ranges like this on the Isle of Man? Who knew?

Of course, not being part of the United Kingdom, they have handguns there as well! Look at THIS lot -

    P1. ISSF Standard Pistol

This is an individual competition conducted in three consecutive courses of 20 shots each.

    P2. Service Pistol B

This is an individual event using any centre fire pistol or revolver of .354 to .455 calibre. There are four courses of fire comprising six shots in each.

    P3. Police Pistol 1

This is an individual competition using any centre fire pistol or revolver of .354 to .455 calibre. There are three courses of fire, using 30 rounds of ammunition in total.

This is an individual competition in 12 series of five shots: 60 shots in total.

    P5. Black Powder Pistol

P6. ISSF 50 Metre Free Pistol

    P7. Police Pistol 2

    P8. 9mm Pistol

P9. ISSF 25 Metre Sport Pistol

    Sounds great to me!

Not being part of Britain .... you mean.

Northern Ireland, a part of the UK, is pretty much the same as the Isle of Man in terms of what you can take part in.

FYI : Come July, the 2019 NASRPC Irish Open, is being held in Bracken Gun Club in Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland.

    Another one for the Diary.

    .

The Isle of Man is a self-governing Crown Dependency, like the Falkland Islands and Gibraltar, and is not part of the United Kingdom per se. This is why they can have handguns of the ordinary format - just like Northern Ireland can for different reasons in spite of being part of the United Kingdom.
