Does anyone have information on whether Apple will update the iMacs this year?
I'd like a newer one but don't want to end up with a "previous" generation.
    Thanks.

Possibly in March/April but they could wait until WWDC in June or even October/November.

While I would expect something this year, Apple's Mac releases have become very hard to predict. It's over a year and half since the last iMac update. The Mac is not a big priority for Apple anymore and they've shown a willingness to leave products to rot for years.
