Kerb question

    Hi,

I have some old timber sleepers that divide my tarmac and step up to my lawn at the back of my house.
Sleepers have all but rotted so i want to replace them with concrete kerbing as it's cheap and low maintenance.

My question is… with the current "step up" situation between the lawn and tarmac what would be the easiest way to graduate the lawn into the new kerning as i'm assuming it will be lower than the sleepers out of the found.

    Hope i'm making sense here...
