    Is there anything can be done about this?

    Some examples of the numbers coming up on their caller display are:
    0733054903
    0183443239
    9658086
    015603375
    9893347

    Ringing mainly early in the mornings, sometimes around lunchtime

    Hi Pulse8

    There have been a number of scam callers in operation recently.  Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to prevent such calls, except to advise our customers to never give out any personal information.  Please click here to find more details about this issue.

    Kind regards

    If you're parents are vulnerable to these types of scams it may be worthwhile getting something like this
    https://www.amazon.co.uk/CPR-Protect-Landline-Call-Blocker/dp/B00LL9H0FM/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1551219879&sr=8-7&keywords=call++blocker
    There are other more sophisticated systems - I thought the there was a grant in place for this kinda thing years ago for OAP's but cannot find any mention of it anymore.

    It's a bit of an expense but not much just for peace and quiet from all kinds of scams and snake oil salesmen

    There is just no way to block these scammers as the numbers are constantly changing and don't actually exist anyway.
