Outdoor oil boiler installation

    Hi All,
    I going to replace my outdoor oil boiler,which is leaking, with a refurbished one that I picked up. Its not a like for like swap so i was wondering if anyone can offer any tips,anything I need to be careful of etc?

    First thing is find out why the boiler leaked,could there be a leak in the system...,Its risky fitting a second hand boiler.

    No such thing as refurbished, only cleaned up to look good.

    Let us know what make and model + price, your think of fitting, and we'll give you an honest answer on whether your getting a good boiler or not.

    A €200 saving on price could add 1000's to running cost over its life.

    Is there any value in secondhand oil burners? We have one that was working fine till we ran out of oil and switched to gas

    Have a look on www.adverts.ie and type in the model burner and you will get a better idea
