    Hi all,

I would like to know how much I would be spending for a new brand ensuite (1.68m x 1.81m).

    - Replacement of shower
    - Replacement of basin
    - Replacement of toilet with on wall frame
    - Replacement of radiator for on wall towel heating
    - Tiling wall and floor

I know how much it will be the materials, so I am interested in labour here.
    Thanks!

Only the current shower is tiled plus two tiles above the basin.

Yes, it would be new tray, enclosure (rectangle) and new shower.

    Thanks!

I got a quote but seems quite weird to me.

The company wanted to choose all the sanitaryware for me. I question about this, and they told me if I wanted to change something that was ok, but not from a UK company, better Irish, just because if they needed to change it because of unknown reasons... I just dont believe this... From the quote I see that all sanitaryware costs double price as I have seen in ie.soak.com (which is actually from UK).

And of course the labour seems quite excesive to me: 7150, allowing 700 for tiles, and 1900 for sanitary ware...

What do you think? is this a regular thing? them choosing all things, instead of the client saying what they want? :S

Personally I'd buy from an Irish supplier rather than soak. I've always been wary of sourcing sanitary ware from outside Ireland but I'd be even more concerned with Brexit looming. Its possible that warrantys may not be honoured once UK leaves the EU. That's just my own opinion not based on data or fact.

I'd also prefer to get in a separate tiler & plumber rather than a company doing everything. A lot of "bathroom instalation companies" don't use qualified plumbers.
