    How far of a distance do you need. I held the new Nite site Sentinel pro at the Shooting Show a few weekends ago and it was a lovely tidy little unit. Range is only 100m though for identification and I’m told eye shine would be picked up out to 180m. I’d definitely consider one when they eventually bring out one with more range.

    Build your own for under €250.
    SLR 55mm lens off ebay, internal 12v battery, very good camera £100, video output,
    200y with a very cheap IR torch. And that's seeing rabbits at 200y. I'd say 300y with good IR torch, cat is 40y away.
