    Hi,

I'm currently out of contract with you and I would like to downgrade my Eir Mobile Unlimited 15GB + Roaming mobile plan to the current €9.99 special offer Eir Mobile Connect (Sim Only, 30 Day).

I've called into an Eir Store and tried the online help and both have advised I need to call customer services (ridiculous in this day and age by the way).

As you know the wait times on your customer service line are shocking for a company of this size, so I'm wondering can you look after this downgrade for me on here, or at the very least arrange a call back for me.

    Regards,

    Stephen

You need to order it directly on the eir website. You're new package will then be activated within in 48hrs.
Under your myeir you can see when it's changed over.

I tried the ringing but gave up.

All done on the website within 10 min.

And were you able to keep the same phone number doing it this way? Was your old plan cancelled automatically?

Yes, you keep the same number.
You have to verify using planetverify
    Then eir process your order.
