New trolley jack is twisted

After years of borrowing a car jack from my neighbor I decided to buy myself a decent trolley jack. So after some research I purchased a jack made in the UK by a company that makes all sorts of tools. When I received it I noticed that it does not sit level. Tried it on different surfaces with exact same problem. Three wheels touch the surface and the fourth wheel sits
1/4 of an inch above the surface. Contacted the seller and they sent another one with the exact same problem. They then said that this is the way the jacks are made and it is not a problem.
The jack was not cheap and so I would have expected better. Looked at a number of trolley jacks in local motor factors yesterday and they all sit perfectly level and they are all at a fraction of the cost I paid.

I bought from halfords the trolley jack and it works ok. Low profile and 3 years warranty. I know their price are bit too high compared the similar product on other EU countries. The local hassle free warranty are worth the price. Their tools are too ok to use, because these have a life time warranty (not all tools, only selected). If you do not need a low profile then recently was on aldi/lidl the regular trolley jack, 20 something euro.

The new jack shouldnt be warped.
They probably got a load of them cheap as factory seconds

I purchased from a company in Ireland. When I told them it was warped they got the manufacturer in England to send me a replacement direct.
When it arrived it had the exact same problem. The serial numbers were close. The manufacturer has written to me to say that there is no problem with the jack, that this is normal.

    What's the brand of jack.

I picked up a nice 3 ton jack for very little and it's been superb so far . From an Irish supplier.

it's the way they are made. They are made sub-standard. You need to get a refund.

Go back to the company in Ireland and ask for a refund.

Thats what i would do to be honest.

Sale of goods and supply of services act says

    - of merchantable quality
    - fit for purpose
    Which to me it isnt

    They are taking it back.

I don't want to state the maker until I get my money back but they are a very well known UK company. We all have tools made by them. They say that this is the way these jacks are and in time it will level up. I don't think it will. I think it is a bad batch.
