I am new to rearing pedigree bulls. I have a few shorthorns which are very well bred and being weaned (about 9 months old). They are from embryos. I hope take them to Carlisle or Stirling this time next year.
I would appreciate any advice on rearing. Ad-lib concentrates or how much.
Inside next winter or running in. Or completely out.
Any other advice would be appreciated

I’d keep out and let them run in, better hair:D

With regards feeding, I’d be giving them a shake of nuts over the summer (keeps them easy to handle) and autumn next year push them on, the only question I have is will it pay? I’m not familiar enough with shorthorns or how they carry weight. Best of luck with them.

No. I’m quite sure it won’t pay. But no way back. Gotta just make the most of it
