im a learner driver and my insurance is up next month with axa,i got a renewal letter and on it stated my insurance is up for renewal next month and said with full license.

so im confused do i need a full license to renew my insurance or can i still renew my insurance being a learner permit holder?.

or is this a new law bought in by insurance companys that only full license holders can take out insurance,or can i still get my insurance renewed being a learner permit holder?.

Insurance companies definitely do insure learner permit holders.

Phone the number on the letter you received from AXA and ask them what the deal is with your specific policy- only they will know!

It would appear that your insurers are under the assumption you already have a full licence. It is either your error or theirs but is serious and needs to be corrected

No. If that was the case no one new would be able to learn to drive or add additional categories to an existing licence.

Get it corrected ASAP. They'll probably say that you should have reviewed the details of the policy before signing.
