Is there such a thing that you can screw onto the end of the rods and turn with your two hands rather than trying to tear the skin off your palms?

I don't see such a thing listed anywhere.

I have the hands nearly torn off myself now using the screw head on the rods while trying to clear roots from a blocked drain. A two handed handle that you could screw onto the end of the rods to give you more power to turn seems like a no brainer to me.

Always turn them in a clockwise direction. The threaded connections are very short and could come apart very easily. The longer yellow rods shown would be a good buy , good long threads. Used rods once on a cabling job about 6ft long and locked together with a spanner.

Never Knew about the Handle .
I always try and hire a lad with a jetter . I keep a list of jobs that need to be done then when we have an urgent job we can get those other jobs done at the same time and it works out cheap enough .

    Would a stillson wrench work?
(If you try it and it makes sh1te of the rod trying to grip it I am accepting zero responsibility...so borrow some one else's rods)

    It probably might have worked.
But anyways it's done now. Some sort of screw on handle would be the business.
