Eir scam calls game.

My new passtime. We get one of these calls at least once a day. Himself and myself have a competition going to see how long we can keep them on the line before they cop on.

Himself has the lead at 5.25 minutes. I could only manage 2.22.

Think of it as a civic duty. If you’re keeping them occupied, they cannot be scamming someone else.

Bit unfair to bring Eir into it, its the scammers that are the pest, they are only using the Eir network (or indeed Vodafone or 3 or whatever you have on your mobile). The trick is to recognise the numbers and not answer the phone, they get the impression its not an active number and eventually go away.
