The next upgrade will probably be losing the little finger. Has to happen soon like....even when you type on any sort of device you don't use it.

Piano players or musicians must still be keeping it going or something. Do they even use the little finger? I dunno

Practically every musican on the planet uses the little finger.
The hand/5 digits are 'design perfection' from millions of years of evolution.

Upgrades will happen, but that will be due to new technologies becoming available. Even then they will be for performing certain tasks, not daily life.

'Transhumanism' or 'H+' I think they call it (nothing to do with the other trans').

Yeah see that what I was thinking, musicians must use the little fecker. I don't play music myself, love listening to it, but age old instruments to make the music on actual instruments, the people playing those instrumenst must use it! Its just gadges like me what just use buttons and laptops and all that don't use it at all, and I consciously know I'm not using it! Its funny

If I didn't have my little finger I couldn't hold my phone up. As I type this my right little finger is at the bottom of my phone keeping it held.

There was an episode of The Outer Limits where everyone had a chip inserted into their arm or somewhere and they instantly knew things or could download a book into their mind within seconds. Like as if you had an advanced Google in your head.

There was a minority of people whose bodies rejected the chip so they had to learn everything themselves. They were pitied and didn't have the abilities the others had. The system was interconnected and a computer virus started messing everything up so they had to shut it down.

In the end, the people who had to learn everything organically had to teach the others everything from scratch like how to read.

It was a good episode. A bit dated now though.

That sounds very cool. Twilight Zone style stuff.

I still buy vinyl records for the tracks I really love safe in the knowledge that if the modern digital/electronic world somehow collapsed in some sort of Mad Max situation and I survived I'd still have some mode of listening to me music without need for an electric power source to function it

I don't know about being upgraded but sometimes I think I could do with a software reset.

    Not sure if serious....

But if so that’s not how evolution works. Not that humans are evolving at the moment.
