Looking at Death Cert for 1965. Elderly person died in Dublin hospital, address as "late of St. Clare's Home".

Would that be St. Clare's on Griffith Avenue?

In 1969 Thom's (close enough) the only St. Clare's listed is St. Clare's Home for the Aged, Claremont Avenue, Dublin 9, which is off Griffith Avenue, so I think you're right.

Many thanks. I don't think Griffith Avenue (extension) was there in the 60's so Claremont Avenue probably ran on.

Glasnevin Heritage here has historical pics and a brief history of the place and a few of it's former tenants.
