I've a pretty lightly used 2012 macbook that was only used for djing for about 6 years and it has started just shutting down, literally going from fine to dead in a second or two and on both battery and powered. Have no idea where to start despite looking online. Any advice greatly appreciated! TIA.

Now this could still be anything but.....

This happened to my 2012 13inch and it was a logic board failure which I got covered under consumer law.

Where in the country are you located?
