Many companies will 'mirror' your private NCB onto the commercial policy - but will likely exclude open driving when done this way.

Try insuremyvan, they've been quite accomodating to me over years of multi-vehicle ownership.

Im in the process of getting quotes for two cars here at the moment and Allianz are miles cheaper than anyone else for me anyway.

I have car insured with AXA and got a quote of €470 for a new policy on a 07 Hilux. TPFT.

I considered a van along with the Tiguan and tried imsuremyvan few years ago for 1.6 berlingo and they wanted €850 TPFT, way too much.
Have full NCB on my private insurance but only allowed a portion over.

    It makes no sense.
I’ve my wife named on my jeep policy but she has her own car and policy.

So, you’d imagine me having a van insured separately would halve tue risk on both the jeep and van as I can’t be driving both at the same time.

I dunno, they tried to charge me over 1k on the car here we had all the time last year, I got on to the manager and it was stopped back to 600 but it's a load of bollix, making up there own rules as they go along

Either axa or aviva (I always mix the two up) allow you to insure a Jeep or 4x4 for a flat €250 if you have the following:
    Over ten years old
    DOE’d
    Drivers are over 30
And it’s part of your farm insurance but you don’t build up a second ncb on it unfortunately

Edit If people need to know which one I’ll find out later this evening
