Anyone got any recommendations for a decent hand wash in D15? Looking for somewhere to bring it every couple of weeks or so, so nothing too mental price wise.

    Cheers!

Nobody that I am aware of in D15 that will do a proper hand wash (2 bucket, mitt). I use the jet wash in Applegreen Clonsilla - its €2 for 3 minutes, so I bring my own pre-wash, alloy brush & wash mitt and buy 3 tickets.

Step 1. Spray on alloy wheel cleaner, spray on pre-wash on bodywork, agitate cleaner on alloys with wheel brush

Step 2. Jet Wash - first of my tickets

Step. 3 - Hot foam from machine (second ticket) - don't let brush touch car, and cover it in foam. I then use my wash mitt

Step 4. Jet Wash off (third ticket)

Step 5. Take it off to the side and dry with my towel

All in all takes about 15 minutes, and keeps the car swirl free! At the moment if you buy petrol they will give you a ticket for free - so €4 for all of the above.

What car, what age, what body condition?

There's a steam hand wash service in Coolmine at the side of the Ford dealership. €10, takes about 20mins. They do a reasonable service.

At least not like the wash at the retail park in Blanchardstown (Waltons Music side) where they use brooms on your car!

That's the Eco Wash guys. Have used them in the past too.
Prefer the steam wash in Coolmine though. Next to pro parts & detailing shed.
