Cancelling Degiro order?

    Hi folks,

If you place a limit order with Degiro, and cancel it, do the funds get automatically released to your account, so that you can start a new order with the same funds?

I presume so but don't see any info on this on their help centre. I am looking to change the number of shares I have ordered by cancelling the current order and initiating a new one.

You can't edit the number of shares on an existing order.

Yes you can use the funds immediately for another trade of the same or any other stock.

Ah yeah figured, plus the order has gone through now at the limit price so that’s great! Thanks. Now to find out what money market fund means (MMF)..

MMF's are funds which will give you a very low return but are deemed pretty safe. Generally somewhere to park your "cash" while you decide what else you want to invest in.

They invest in bonds and the like.
