Anyone replaced the above? I've an exact part number match bought on ebay but was wondering about the interchangeability of them because there seems to be a lot of part numbers covering the same thing. The one I have is XS41 A17K441 AC and there are lots of very similar part numbers offered, all the same middle section of the number A17K441 with varying prefixes and suffixes so wondering if any of the others would fit?

This is the same as the one I've ordered https://www.ebay.ie/itm/ford-focus-rear-tailgate-boot-wiper-motor-1998-2004-MK1-XS41-A17K441-AC/272837951336

Give to me your car VIN number and I tell to you all rear wiper motors list. Some can be replaced (upgraded) versions and have 1:1 the same mounting and the connections

I'll check it tomorrow. The mountings and connectors are identical on many of the versions, I was worried I'd get one with say a longer or shorter shaft that wouldn't fit.

OP I have a working rear wiper motor from a MK1 Focus 2002, whereabouts are you based?

I'm in near Waterford. I have a replacement coming sometime this week from ebay but you never know I might still need another.

Just to finish off here, fitted the ebay one today and it works fine. Surprised it had a sticker on it that looked like a production date 24-04-2017 iirc, so I'm confident it should last the car out.

If anyone else is doing this its an easy job. The only trick I found which had me taking it off an extra time is to put the black outer tube through the grommet in the window first then lightly bolt the motor in place and then finally push the outer tube over the spindle a bit of manipulation was required. If you leave the tube on the spindle and just push it through then not enough protrudes through the grommet.

iirc all I used was a phillips screwdriver to take the liner off 4 screws then pull, an 8mm spanner for the 3 mounting nuts, 10mm spanner for the electrical earth and a 13mm spanner for the nut holding the wiper arm on and a dead blow hammer to knock the shaft out from the base of the wiper arm.
