Any other candidates for Olympic Sports?

Breakdancing has been proposed for inclusion at the 2024 Olympics. What's next?

Ballroom dancing? Moonhopper obstacle course races? Video games? Ludo? Poker? Slow bicycle race?

When is an activity a sport that warrants Olympic status and not an art form or a pastime?

Any other 'sports' that we should suggest to the IOC?

Painting should be in the Olympics, like the community games all over again

I get sad at least once a day because of lack of Sumo wrestling in the olympics :(

Paintball, ultimate frisbee, cheese rolling, a ninja warrior obstacle course. I'd watch all of those.

Dancing like breakdancing and ballroom have no place in the Olympics. Getting a horse to dance - now THAT'S an Olympic sport!

It used to be in the Olympics, didn’t it? The first few modern Olympics, if I recall correctly.

Anything which is subjective should not be in the olympics.

Art, dancing etc. It all depends on the person.

Sports have a definitive set of rules and scores. Easily determined winners and losers.

I dont watch sports that are judged and given Marks, bar a small bit of the diving. So less of those please. Add a couple where you score points directly or run faster/jump higher than your opponent to win.

Sulky racing. It may boost our medal tally ;)

Tug of War would be a good one - would be cool to see and was already previously an olympic sport

They considered, but rejected, Chess and Bridge for the 2020 games.

The head of World Chess even suggested using pieces made of ice, to have it included in the Winter Olympics.

There should be a special award for most PEDs absorbed by the human body.

I'd say that would end up a score draw by most countries.

No! Catching - heaviest clean catch wins. Empty the pool and drop them from the top of the diving tower

Doesn't that rule out almost all of gymnastics and related sports? Might just be me, but though I never watch it gymnastics has always felt as naturally a part of the Olympics as the athletics and swimming races.
