Wtd:boardman cx team 2016

Looking for the 2016 iteration of this model, with the x1 sram rival chainset.I missed the boat when they were going end of line last year for €600. I have 4-450€ if anyone has one they might be considering moving on in my size, I’m 5 11”. Thanks

Don’t believe they were ever as low as 600..

I picked up a shop soiled one with an AXA discount and they made a fcuk up in sizing which they gave a further few quid off and it still wasn’t that low..

FWIW, a cracking bike, nice geometry and handling and the Gruppo is excellent.

Fitted a set of 28mm slicks and it was a great winter bike for the road too..

Sad to have sold mine to fund another project build.

Best of luck with your search but you may need to offer a couple more bullseyes to get someone to part with theirs.

Here it is, just hadn’t the money for it at the time and it was available in my size

Wow.. That’s some bang for the buck..

I stand corrected- Some reduction as the original RRP was 1160 or so.

As I said- best of luck with the search- popular Bike at the CX events

Thanks very much but I think the moment might have passed to get one. My thread is more in hope than anything. Not many even on adverts the last two years, a real keeper of a bike.

Absolutely.. Mine was gone in a day.

If space and funds allowed, it wouldn’t be gone.

There was a chap on here (Junior?) selling one in Waterford. Not the 1X model but the previous SRAM double.. Same frame and paint scheme though, and worst case you could convert to 1x without killing yourself.

Was in Halfords Tralee about 2 weeks ago, they still had 1 in stock - 53cm. Was marked full price, was also marked as full price over xmas when it was reduced on the website, might be worth a telephone call to check availability and price.
