Car insurance comparison sites/change of employment status

    Does anyone have any recommendations? I've just tried

    compareinsuranceireland. ie

    but they can't find my address (!!! no option to put in Eircode...) so won't quote me.

    Also, has anyone any thoughts on how change of employment status would change a quote? I was working full time, but am now a full time carer for my Mum. (on carers allowance) I am not unemployed though carer isn't an option anywhere..

    My renewal has just come from Aviva and I haven't advised change of employment status. Should I?? (as renewal isn't too bad at €398 - fully comp, full NCB protection)
