Hi there. Thonking of tracelling to Pula Croatia for hols this summer but have heard a mixture of reviews regarding cost of eating out and alcohol. Would be interested in your opinions as have two teenagers and would like to be able to eat out at night , mid range, nothing fancy and to be able to have a few beers and wine without breaking the bank as on tight budget. Thanks

Was there in August with a 1yr old. Was pretty cheap. Ice cream parlour cones were around 1euro for example. Can't remember exactly the prices but we thought it was very nice Italian style food at a lower price.

We were there a couple of years ago - 2 adults and 3 teenagers - and found it very cheap away from the Tourist type towns - our local village pizzeria charges us 35euros for 5 pizzas, a bottle of wine, a beer and 4 desserts - the bigger towns attract bigger prices but we found the restaurants and bars in Porec reasonable even on the harbour.
