Not sure if we've done this before.

Would be keen to do a boards Radio Forum Meetup if any of ye are interested.

Open to your suggestions for location, I think a fair amount of ye are based outside of Dublin.

Ideally we would all congregate around a radio between 1345 and 1500, scoffing at Joe Duffy, but that may not be practical for everyone.

    Thoughts? Objections?

Now that is a (un)Funneh Friday I would listen to - a live audience with it half full of Boards.ie Radio forum users. Get your party pieces ready lads, you could win weekends away (not with JD)

we should make this into a podcast.

Only half-joking, I have a mic at home. we could make an annotated Liveline Show

was involved in a Boards podcast many moons ago, made it in the NEAR FM studios, maybe 3 or 4 episodes went out

    Any link to that?

I'm actually quite enjoying this idea - saving up me egg cartons as I type. A Radio Forum podcast with commentary from whoever wants to come on air, during the Liveline slot, taking the piss out of the show. There is definitely something in this!

I can't even remember the date it would have been, but definitely between 2009 and 2011

I reckon we'd be better off doing it in the evening, no?

I have a feeling that Dublin wouldn't suit most people - open to correction on that.

I suggest Nenagh. Party back at my gaff.

It's a brilliant idea! I hope you get the numbers to meet up & discuss the greatest ever 2fm & Today FM lineup over a few beers.

    (whispers)Come to the beers.

    Right, enough dilly-dallying.

We'll have a preliminary test beers tomorrow, Sunday evening, at 8pm in Hogan's of South Georges Street. It may just be me; it may be you and me taking turns at doing Duffy impersonations.

Not to worry if you can't come. I happen to be in the area at that time of a Sunday evening and just want to stake-out how much interest there might be for a Dublin beers.

If there isn't much take-up, we'll try again. This forum would be all the better and more harmonious if we got to know one another.

    Muchos Gracias so to speak.

I'll be honest lads, I don't think ye'd like me. I'd start giving out about Tubridy at 9pm and I'd probably still be giving out in the taxi home.
