Hi, need a bit of advice

I have been asked to help look for/install a small sound system for a small cafe that a buddy of mine is opening soon.

the owner hopes to play music from spotify account off a laptop or tablet and get a dual licence for the location.

wireless would probably be the best option
can anyone point me in the direction of something suitable?
    cheers

If he has Wifi...Get an Amazon Alexa. And play his Spotify thru it

oR...he could play a radio station thru a TuneIn radio.

You could ask it to play RTÉ Gold... oldies in the background.

He did say his friend will have the licence anyway. You'd also need it for Spotify.

IMRO will get you if you have any music playing, unless it's a recording of you performing your own songs.

I worked in a place before where they'd only have Sky News on and IMRO demanded their money because there is music playing on the adverts.

we went with two Sonos speakers.
seems to be doing the job, might have to add a third speaker in the future.
the sonos app seems to get very muddled at times. I wonder is it due to the older version of ios on the phone and macbook?
