ESB apprenticeships 2019 - mature applicant

    Although an upper age limit is not allowed, are there many mature (middle aged) successful applicants for an ESB apprenticeship?

    Not sure about recently but there was many mature apprentices with the ESB in the past

    Apply the worst that can happen is you dont get it

    ESB seem to take on a lot more younger lads coming from school. Not sure if it’s still the same,I’m sure they will be taking on some mature applicants.

    I've noticed aptitude test preparation courses mentioned - is it worth doing?

    Im in my 30's and took the notion and applied for it... but i might go do a part time masters in the autumn yet as ive a level 8 degree... I work with alot of electricians and I think its a great trade, especially the industrial end of things rather than the domestic. Just be aware you need the adobe flash player on your computer for one of the assessments.
