2.4GHz vs 5GHz Wifi on the same subnet?

    A new router from Vodafone (Huawei 4G) can broadcast on both frequencies at the same time. My question is are they both separate networks or will devices be able to "see" eachother. I ask as my old wi-fi printer is only 2.4GHz compatible but all other laptops and mobile are 5GHz compatible.

    Yes, they can see each other.

    They are two separate networks, but connected to the same bridge.

    All devices will see each other, as they can with the LAN devices too.
