    What would be best size paddock for 17 calves(dec, jan born)

    As small as you can make it. Ideally calves need to be moved onto fresh every 3-4 days. TBH at present if getting ration they are eating very little grass. shelter is as important as grass.

    Your going to have to graze it out after them anyway, sheltered paddock as above advice.

    I don't have any bigger stock yet only the 17 calves. So will be topping it after them. They won't be going out for another 4 or 5 weeks.

    I can make the paddocks as small or big as i want. would .5 Or. 6 of an acre be too big/small?
