Suggestions please - new car

    Hi guys, wondering if anyone could help recommend a new car for me.

    I currently have a 1.6 engine 02 car which is expensive to insure and tax. I'm looking to get a new car with a budget of €10 - 15k. My current car is a 3 door so looking to upgrade to a 5 door or saloon. I drive into work but most driving is in city centre and to my family home which is <1 hour from where I live and work. Annual mileage is usually less than 15,00km. Normally just me in the car and wouldn't have much in the boot generally.

    I'm looking for something more economical and reliable. Ideally automatic but can live with manual. I like the idea of hybrid but I don't know if it's in budget.

    If anyone has any suggestions please throw them my way. I wouldn't be any sort of motor expert so any and all advice or recommendations welcome. Thanks a mill.
