So im going to build a fire pit in my back garden. I plan on it being circular with a diameter of about 90cm and a height of about 100cm above ground 130cm total.

My plan is not to have a steel liner and build it out of fireproof bricks, with some sand and stones as a base layer.

Anyone know the best place to pick up these supplies? All the better if theres a place to get a steel liner but i can life without one of them.

    Cheers.

Hi. Did u ever build this? Am thinking of doing the same and have similar query about sourcing the materials. Not sure about the steel liner, is that necessary?
