Roku, Now TV, Firestick?

    Hi, looking for a cheap streaming device that must have Netflix. What's the best option for me?

    I got a cheap Roku Streaming Stick from Amazon, and it's a helluva device for Netflix / Emby. I also had a first gen Firestick which wasn't suitable for Emby, but fine for Netflix.

    I have had roku 3 for 4+ years and it's excellent. Probably can get one cheap on eBay or Amazon these days

    Pros:
    - Very nippy
    - Great for Emby, Netflix, Spotify, Sky News, Vevo etc.
    - Remote very responsive!

    Cons:
    - Can't install Kodi - OS is locked down
    - Their marketplace has been trimmed down a lot in recent years - no M3U player available AFAIK. Awkward for IPTV.
    - IR receiver needed for remote - just silly!

    is the now tv stick any good? have to get a simple device for parents to use netflix on
