My father has inherited 30 acres from his sister, qualifies for agri relief if he farms land for 6 yrs or leases it to qualified farmer. If he planted land would he still be a farmer for agri relief purposes. Thinking of agri forestry grant

I think he'll need to be an active farmer ie have a herd number or flock number and stock as well. I could be wrong so check it out professionally with an accountant / solicitor.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.
