Giant Battery for Solar Setup

I will have access (for free) to take home a MGE Galaxy 3000 system from work.

I'm planning on a 4kw PV setup to be installed at my home in 2019.

Would this MGE 3000 be of any use as a battery storage option?

I know its probably far too big and has too much storage than needed, but if its free would it be useful for my house?

Which one is it ?
The only info I found is saying:

Only trained and authorized personnel
may work on this product, in regard to
the installation, use or maintenance
operations.

Effects

Sounds like a lot of work to connect them together really. Is it the 10 or 30 KVA version?
It would be a fun project. But how legal would it be seeing as you can't even open your fuseboard yourself these days.
