Most people are aware of Grooupon - online couponing site, offering meals, hotel stays, spa and massage stays, goods etc. for lower prices. Occassionally, they have discount codes for an additional percentage off all or specifc type of deals. This weekend, the code SAVINGS seems to be giving €5-€25 euro off local deals -i.e. restaurants, hotels etc.

However, topcashback are also giving a limited time 14% cashback on groupon as well (online or in-app). So already discounted deals can be gotten for much cheaper. Example, This deal is for a 3 course meal for 2 for €50 in templebar - with the code its a tenner off and using cashback gives another €7 off, so its ultimately for €33. (Face vale is €84, or so they say)

The give out codes every few days, some are general enough, some require digging thru the site to see what works where. The combination of codes and higher cashback can give some deep discounts (usual cashback is normally 6% i think).

Does everyone use topcashback? Curious how popular these are. I remember using a similar Irish website that used to get mentioned but never got the money out.

I use it for a lot of my online purchases, hotels, car hire etc. Once the balance gets up to 100£ or so, i withdraw it as a virtual mastercard, which also includes a 5% cashback bonus

The Irish site in question went to unusable crap after about 2 years, I got about 200 off them primarily from UPC but also Radisson and one4all and others - but shortly after all that people stopped getting paid.

The two big UK sites work but if it doesn't track it's not worth chasing

fatcheese paid me for a sky subscription that was subsequently cancelled before it was installed!

Tracking with Quidco and topcash can be sketchy alright and if you use another code it may not qualify at all.

This may sound like a stupid question but which topcashback site do you guys use, is it country specific?

I used the play store app, signed into my UK account. It opened my Groupon app and the cash back tracked in a few hours.

I used the topcashback.co.uk website, the link there opened the groupon app and similarly, cashback was there in an hour.

Thanks for the info guys, I've signed to topcashback UK based on your advice.

On a related note, I noticed there are also topcashback sites for Ireland and the United States... are these sites linked in terms of what country you do your shopping in and getting cash back from?

For example, I'm signed up to the UK site but I want to make a purchase from Amazon.com in the United States, will my cashback transfer to my UK account or do I need to sign up to topcashback.com in the United States for this?
