Have a friend lives over an hour from shops. If he buys frozen dinners in supermarket is it safe enough if it's over an hour before he gets into freezer at home?

Food safety advice is not allowed here.

The only way to really check would be to get a food thermometer. If all the food is still below 5°C ,then it would be safe.

Buy an insulated bag/box to keep them in while getting them home.

Then, without a hint of irony, you go straight ahead and give food safety advice....

The only food safety permitted in this forum is "If in doubt, throw it out". Thread closed.
