I want to get a new gaming laptop in the next few weeks and im wondering has anyone used these before. The prices look good and there's plenty of choices. Ill never shop with laptops direct again after a nightmare dealing with them.

Names of other sites that are good would be appreciated too. Id be hoping to get something with a good i7 and 1070 equivalent.

Have a search on boards for previous threads before you make up your mind, particularly any where they required support afterwards.

If you need a custom config have a look at pcspecialist. Otherwise try skinflint.co.uk, you can filter laptops by the specs you want

the dell G5 with 2060 RTX (which is more powerful than the 1070 GTX in terms of FPS results) and 6-core i7

at 1399 is not a bad deal (discount codes around also at times). it's a new chassis build also.
